What is Sunday Select? Little League Sunday Select teams are extra-curricular baseball/softball teams that play in addition to the regular Little League season. They are typically formed through open tryouts and offer a more competitive experience, with practices and games often scheduled on Sundays and some Friday nights to avoid conflicts with the regular season. Key characteristics of Sunday Select teams:
Additional Play:	Sunday Select teams provide an opportunity for players to play more baseball/softball beyond the regular Little League season.
Competitive Focus:	These teams are generally more focused on competitive play and development than the recreational leagues.
Sunday Schedule:	Games and practices are typically scheduled on Sundays and some Friday nights to minimize conflicts with regular season games.
Open Tryouts:	Players are selected for these teams through open tryouts. Players must register and play in the league for the season and live within the league’s boundaries.
Commitment:	Players are required to play in the regular Little League season to participate on a Sunday Select team.
Local Area:	Sunday Select teams typically play against other similar teams within a reasonable radius, often within a 30-minute drive.

Princess Anne Little League is dedicated to improving the skills of all of our athletes. The Princess Anne Pirates Sunday Select program was developed for those players wanting to compete at a higher level of play or obtain advanced additional instruction, without the cost of a travel organization. Teams will compete in the fall and spring in various tournaments, doubleheaders, and round-robins against other travel teams. Players will remain involved with Princess Anne Little League (PALL) in the Spring Season for the opportunity to qualify for Little League All Stars. Tryouts will be held as needed for each team. We recommend this be a year-long commitment but please understand that does not always happen.
