PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
League age 6, 7 and 8 years olds
*All league age 8 players must register in the Minors - Player Pitch division and attend the skill assessments (Try-Outs). League age 8 players that do not yet meet skill expectations will be moved to the Coach Pitch division.
*6-year old players with 1 spring or fall season of T-Ball can request to move up, if space is available.
SEASON
The season typically starts in early April and runs through mid June.
GAMES
Each team plays 12 to 15 games per season.
Games played during the week typically start at 5:30 PM or 6:00 PM.
Games played on Saturday will be scheduled at times ranging from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Game length is typically 1-1/2 hours and can go no longer than two hours, and consist of 6 innings.
PRACTICE
Practice occurs twice a week during the season.
UNIFORMS
PALL provides a jersey, hat, socks, and a belt.
Parents must provide pants, cup and athletic shoes. Cleats are optional.
PLAYING EQUIPMENT
Parents must provide glove and USA bat.
TEAM
Teams usually consist of 10-12 players, a volunteer manager, two volunteer coaches, and a volunteer team parent. Other parents are encouraged to help at practices.
League age 8 year old players will have the opportunity to participate in the player skills assessment in early March. If not assessed for a Minors team then they will be assigned to a Coach Pitch team.

To continue to teach the basic fundamentals of baseball and to have FUN playing a team sport.
VOLUNTEER WORK/FUND RAISING
PALL is an all volunteer organization. We need everyone's help! Parents are expected to serve one shift of concession stand duty during the season.
Coach Pitch League - FAQ’s
Q: Do you keep score and are there umpires?
A: No score is kept during the game and no standings are kept for the season. Managers and coaches act as the field umpires.
Q: What size field do they play?
A: All games are played on a regulation Little League field with a dirt infield and grass outfield. Bases are 60' apart and the pitcher mound is 46’ from home plate.
Q: Can I have my child play on a team with their friends?
A: Yes. In this age group, since there is no draft, we will do our best to accommodate pairing up of friends.
Q: Can I Manage or coach a team?
A: Yes, if positions are available. Prospective managers must complete an application. If you would to serve a coach please note that on your child's spring registration form. All managers and coaches must be approved by the Princess Anne Little League Board of Directors.
Q: How much will my child get to play?
A: To be fair to all players, our rules require that each child play in at least half of each game and start at least half of the games.
Q: What are the volunteer requirements?
A: PALL is an all volunteer organization so there are many ways to volunteer. Help is always needed with registration, team parenting, assisting with picture and opening day activities, helping with post-season tournaments, and working in the concession stand to name just a few of the many ways to help support PALL.
