PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
League age 4, 5 and 6-year olds
SEASON
The season typically starts the beginning of April and runs through mid June.
GAMES
Each team plays 12 to 16 games per season.
Games played during the week generally start at 6:00 PM.
Games played on Saturday will be generally scheduled at times ranging from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Game length is typically 1 hour in time and consists of 3 innings.
PRACTICE
Practice occurs twice per week during the season.
UNIFORMS
PALL provides a jersey, hat, socks, and a belt.
Parents must provide pants and athletic shoes. Cleats are optional.
PLAYING EQUIPMENT
Parents must provide glove. If a bat is brought it must be a USA bat.
TEAM
Teams usually consist of 10 players, a volunteer manager, two volunteer coaches, and a team parent. Other parents are encouraged to help.
League age 6 year old players that have played at least one Spring season with PALL may consider moving up to a Coach Pitch team.
PHILOSOPHY
To continue to teach boys and girls the basic fundamentals of baseball and to have FUN playing a team sport.
VOLUNTEER WORK/FUND RAISING
PALL is an all volunteer organization. We need everyone's help! Parents are expected to serve one shift of concession stand duty during the season.
T-BALL LEAGUE - FAQ’S
Q: Do you keep score and are there umpires?
A: No. The T-Ball league is structured to teach the very basic fundamentals of baseball only. The games are self umpired by the volunteer managers and coaches.
Q: What size field do they play on.
A: All games are played on a regulation T-Ball field with a dirt infield and grass outfield. Bases are 50' apart.
Q: Can I have my child play on a team with their friends?
A: Yes. In this age group, since there is no draft, we will do our best to accommodate pairing up of friends.
Q: Can I Manage or coach a team?
A: Yes, if positions are available. Prospective managers must complete application. If you would like to serve as a coach, then please note that on your child's spring registration. All managers and coaches must be approved by the Princess Anne Little League Board of Directors.
Q: What kind of baseball is used?
A: A soft core baseball is used to prevent injury and provide for a good learning experience.
Q: Will my child get to play all the time?
A: No, not all the time, but a greater than 50% of the time.
Q: What are the volunteer requirements?
A: PALL is an all volunteer organization so there are many ways to volunteer. Help is always needed with registration, team parenting, assisting with picture and opening day activities, helping with post-season tournaments, and working in the concession stand to name just a few of the many ways to help support PALL.
